HAPPY BIRTHDAY MIZTER (Mister)!!!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO THE DOG "MIZTER"!!!

Jus wanna give a shout out and a warm Happy Birthday to Mizter!
Isn't he a lil stinker?

Today he turned 3 years old (in human years).

Mizter is a purebred brindled Boxer. Brindled meaning brownish or tawny with streaks of other color. His ears are not cropped and never will be & he also hasn't been neutered. He is currently 55 pounds of light of a subway car and twice as destructive.

During his lifetime Mizter has overcame many of life's challenges. Challenges such as opening doors, learning more than basic voice commands. His judgement and reasoning is uncanny. With jaws of steel and a keen intellect, this pup is not as sweet as the picture appears to be.

(and yes he is still alive)

Presumptuous

presumptuous |priˈzəmp ch (oō)əs|adjective(of a person or their behavior) failing to observe the limits of what is permitted or appropriate.

Just wanted to start out with the facts. Why? Because facts are facts and unlike people, cannot lie. When you read the title and then the definition.. what comes to mind? Hope you're on the right path with me! Since presumptuous is an adjective, people will be our noun. And when we use the word people because it applies to more than just one person. In most opinions, there are a lot of them.
I could generally just go on and on about why and how I feel about it. I'm doing something different. I want you to think of what it means to you, when you read it. Especially the "person or the behavior" part.
This is a different type of entry. I'm trying to get your neurons & synapses firing.

Why Bad Things Happen to Good People.

Wondering why bad things happen to good people is something that no one can really answer. Some may say it is an act of God, while others believe it may be karma. Religion or science should be able to answer, but who really knows? Even the strongest of people have bad days and wonder why them. Could things get any worse? Why did this have to happen to me? And the famous, what did I do wrong? Those are the types of questions that make you think. They linger in your mind and build up in your chest until a volatile explosion.
When these types negative things happen, you can truly, only turn to yourself.. meaning look within. Sure you can ask someone for their advice or for help, but does that one person truly understand how you feel? Or are they just sympathetic to your emotional state at the present time? Self-coping is a sure sign of growth. Overcoming what seems like unbearable situations are those that build character. Becoming stronger and wiser is what every person deems to be. But sometimes those bad things can build up and really take a toll on your life.
Bad things happen to good people because it's a way of life. That's how I tend to look at it. No one said life would be easy & obstacles would be minor. Bad things happen to good people just as it happens to bad people. Whose to say what a good or bad person is.. No man is superior to the next to pass that judgement. Although some people are more negative than others, does that really make them bad? I feel a good person can turn bad. Why?? Because shit happens, and shit happens to the best of us.
I, myself, am a firm believer in karma. I feel that once you put negativity out into the universe, it's bound to have the boomerang effect. It may take weeks or even years to get back to you, but its coming. There's no need to be stagnant about this topic, it's true. I've had my fair share of delving into bad things, because I as a person am human. Whenever I try to do the right thing.. WAM!!!! I get hit with the boomerang. Asking aloud, "Why me, what did I do to deserve this?" I also a man of God, and a firm believer in his existence. Growing up I've heard the saying that he'll never burden you with more than you can handle. But being here on this Earthly world, can sometimes seem to much. Praying for understanding and forgiveness!
Throughout your life, you make your own decisions. You create your own path and must therefore live with the consequences. Bad things happen to good people all the time. Bad things happen to good people because.... I really don't know.

to be continued...

To Roshan (theRosh)

Days turned to weeks, and you know the rest.

The missing you phase is over, loyalty at its best.

Still remembering your laugh, so infections and gay,

Chiefin on the couch, you askin’, “Pass the ashtray.”

“Bless ya’ chile,” you said, great and zest.

Movies were your thing, put it to the test.

Your breakaway array was welcomed anyday.

From the holiday to hearsay, my backup, my mayday.

Always down for the cause, always up wit the latest.

That red ‘lac you was whippin’, yea you were the greatest!

Wanna’ hear your voice, before it fully slips away.

My mind may sway, so hear my prayer today.

When you entered my home, you entered my life,

Wildlife, nightlife… I love you! Enjoy the afterlife.

**Samsung Sidekick 4G**

The long awaited, most anticipated (for some) mobile device is almost ready for purchasing, the Sidekick 4G! It's only available through its well-known carrier, T-Mobile.
This new handheld device combines the Sidekick form factor and featured modern specs from an android smartphone. Yes, the new Sidekick is using an Android smartphone platform. The features include a pop-up screen, ample shortcuts to get to various apps, a large keyboard, and unique group messaging and social networking apps.

But don't stop there! The Sidekick's general hardware has also improved from the last model. Equipped with a 1 GHz processor, touch screen, front and rear cameras for video chat, and Wi-Fi with DNLA media streaming and can also be used as a mobile hotspot.

Assuming with all the other hot cellular phones available on the market right now, this phone particularly would be a hot item for faithful Sidekick users. It may not be the iPhone 4G or the new Verizon 4G LTE Thunder Bolt, but its in the same league as of now.

In my opinion, I think that this new handheld device is going to be an exclusive, must-have item. Sidekick was the originator of handheld devices to do more than just text and talk simultaneously. The Sidekick never froze up, had any bugs and the first device able to run more than one app at a time. Disagree? Well then you need to do your homework. Facts are facts. But the inventors of the new Sidekick has carefully compared it to its competitors and produced an amazing product. Power, speed, reliability and finally a touch-screen. This phone is a must have and is sure to not disappoint. When the Sidekick LX hit the scene, the Sidekick trend swept the nation and was in the hands of everyone who was electronic savvy. It was a must have device and I guarantee that this one will do the same. But with with a TOUCH SCREEN!

The price and release date has not yet been determined by the carrier [T-Mobile].

Original

When you think of the word original, what comes to mind? Whatever it may be, have a well-thought out idea before you answer. When I think of original, I think first. Numero uno! Thee first one, thee original. Meaning it can only be duplicated but never the real deal.
Since becoming an avid Twitter user, I've ran across a lot of personalities. Personalities in which a muhh'fucka swear they different from the next one. How can you claim to be original or unique when you're tweeting #BasicNiggaShit (basic nigga shit). I don't see it. I would like to go on record by saying I'm not hating, Im merely stating - get it right.
Moving along...
Now of course I consider myself to be an original. Morally, ethically, mentally, physically, etc., are words in which are self-proclaimed that describes me! I simply love to think outside the box. Willing to go the extra mile just to be able to shine and stand out. I carry the mentality with me everywhere. It's apart of me. Anytime I do something, it gets recognized. Believe that! That's what I would consider original. A piece of work that stands out, catches the attention of whomever it graces. My blog for example... is just a mere part of what goes on in my head. They way my blog is created is full of originality, from the layout to every fucking word on it.
I could go on and on, but for what? I've pretty much said what I needed to say. Just wanted to get that one out real fast. The idea's been floating around in my head for a couple days now. Since I have no concubine to keep me occupied, the my mentals be all over the place.
Ending this on a good note. I would just simply like to say. Game peeps game. You can't bullshit a bullshitter. You get where I'm going with this? When a muhh'fucka tries to bullshit you, but you can peep what's going on, that's not original. Simple people do simple things. Flat out. "One day you're in. And the next, you're you!" according to Heidi Klum. Some words one could consider to live by

Who am I and where am I going?

Growing up being such an indecisive individual, it took me many years to envision a practical future for myself. Always having one goal in mind, to later change it because of being suddenly disinterested. It wasn't until one day when I had an epiphany; I knew it was time to get my life where I felt it needed to be.
The goal/career that I intend to strive for is being in the public relations field, if not with my own company. I plan on strategically creating a successful "brand name" or company and become featured in prominent magazines such as Black Enterprise and Forbes. There is too much money in the world that can be made for me to sit around and not be making any of it. And only I can put forth any of the required steps to make my plans come true, because I'm hungry.
Owning my own company, being the boss and calling the shots are what I have envisioned with my future. I will not work for an employer for the rest of my life. The steps I am taking to reach my goals are life changing and sometimes challenging. I am taking required, helpful classes and completing certain objectives to make my plans and goals come true.

Fast Food Addiction: Dying For a Quick Fix

Fast food is a $103-billion industry and can be labeled as any type of food that is quick, sometimes inexpensive and convenient. But fast food does have a negative affect on your health. Now true, there is no real “bad” type of food. But fast food is generally high in cholesterol, fat, sodium and calories. Excessive exposure to fast foods over a long period of time can lead to deadly complications such as obesity, colon cancer, diabetes, and heart disease.

Whenever eating McDonald’s, one of the nation’s largest fast food chains, you should always try to alternate between healthier and regular choices. An order of 10-piece nuggets has 460 calories, 29 grams of fat and 1,000 milligrams of sodium. McDonald’s combo meals contain different chemicals such as petro-chemicals, trans-fats, artificial sweeteners and high fructose corn syrups. These synthetic chemicals could increase the chances of getting diabetes, damaging DNA, and lowering your body’s immunity. Foods that contain high levels of sugars and sweeteners are the same foods that can cause premature aging. Yet, McDonald’s still continues to create a perfect genetically engineered taste, which has your addiction craving for more.

If you are having fast food more than twice a week, you should try balancing it out with more nutritious food. Eating just one fast food meal can pack enough calories, sodium and fat needed for an entire day. Most people know that fast food is not good for you, but many don’t realize how dangerous it really is. Limiting these foods in your diet can have a big effect on how your body handles the aging process. Aging is a part of life that we cannot stop, but we can help slow it down by eating healthier. Plenty of fresh fruits and vegetables, whole grains and plenty of water can be small steps to help go a long way. By alternating your eating habits and keeping active, you can add years to your lives and improve the years that you have.

Writing

When I actually sit back and think about it, I can honestly say my writing has improved greatly. I am truly understanding the phrase "words have power."
Being a writer, wanting to become a better writer is opening up new things inside me. Starting to actually feel I can do whatever I want, as far as writing. Being a good writer, to me, means knowing how to turn it on and off. I have so many things jumbled up inside the mental, and writing is going to be the thing to help me make space and get everything out.
Growing up, I've always heard the phrase practice makes perfect, and now it's actually starting to stick with me. Envisioning great things for my future is normal of me and writing os going to take me there. I'm no normal person and never just been average.
Grammar is starting to become somewhat a passion of mine. My calling in life! Days would go by and had me wondering, what is my purpose? What am I to do here on Earth? And now I know, with the help of an education. *cliche I know right* Having a passion, to me, makes me feel like I'm becoming whole again. And that's what motivates my to keep going everyday.
I will become what I want, my dreams will no longer end when I open my eyes, my fantasies will be distinguished from reality, and my pockets "will be on swole."

Just living is not enough. One must have sunshine, freedom, and a little flower.

USDA and HHS Declare New Dietary Guidelines to Help Address Obesity Epidemic in America

Recently, Secretary of the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) Kathleen Sebelius along with Agriculture Secretary Tom Vilsack announced the government’s evidenced-based, release of the 2010 Dietary Guidelines for Americans. The new nutritional guidelines are designed to help promote better health along with improved nutrition and to help decrease the widespread of obesity.

According to the USDA, there are more than one-third of children and adults in America that are overweight. The 2010 Dietary Guidelines for Americans, 7th edition, is aimed at placing more urgency on reducing high-caloric consumption while influencing the increase of physical activities.

“The 2010 Guidelines are being released at a time when the majority of adults and one in three children is overweight or obese and this is a crisis that we can no longer ignore,” said Secretary Vilsack. “These new and improved dietary recommendations give individuals the information to make a thoughtful choice of healthier foods and to complement those choices with physical activity. The bottom line is that most Americans need to trim our waistlines to reduce the risk of developing diet-related chronic disease.” The 2010 Dietary Guidelines for Americans also focuses on encouraging Americans to add more healthy foods to their diet such as fat free and low-fat dairy products and whole grains while consuming less sodium (salt), trans fat, and added sugars (i.e., high-fructose corn syrup, fruit juice concentrates, and dextrose).

“Helping Americans incorporate these guidelines into their everyday lives is important to improving the overall health of the American people,” said Health and Human Services Secretary Sebelius. “The new Dietary Guidelines provide concrete action steps to help people live healthier, more physically active and longer lives.”

These Dietary Guidelines assist policymakers in applying and designing nutrition-related programs. They also form federal nutrition assistance programs such as Meals on Wheels for seniors and the school meal plans for grades K-12. The Guidelines provide tons of information and dietary advice to dieticians and many other health professionals.

More information on dietary guidelines can be found online, visit www.health.gov/dietaryguidelines and www.healthfinder.gov/prevention. The new 2010 Dietary Guidelines is available at www.dietaryguidelines.gov.

"Growth"

To Whom It May Concern:

I sincerely apologize for my absence, for I was taking time to become anew, reinvented. This particular blog is titled "Growth," because I strongly believe growth is important. Growing on the inside as well as the outside. I took time from blogging to do what I felt was needed. Now, in a new year, with new dreams, visions and goals I have returned. Along with growth changes can occur. In my case, they were good changes. Changes in which I have grown and matured.

Let me start off by saying, I am slowly progressing in the cessation of my main philosophy; my "Philosophy's as a Chiefaholic." I decided that's not where I would like to spend the rest of my life. Spending hours in a constant state of "false heavens" has been a personal struggle for years. The constant wants and dreams being misguided or even misled due to the fact of the love for that "chief." I plan to eventually quit and never fall victim again. Allowing me to expand my horizons even further than I could imagine. So now my blog; my mindset; my dreams; have slightly shifted. I think a new light, however, still maintaing true to myself.

Instead of me sounding angry and disturbed in my thoughts, I will now try to deliver more positive, uplifting opinions. My thoughts will no longer be clouded by the chief.

If you haven't noticed by now, the way that I type has changed. I'm more careful and attentive to what I want to say and how to say it. Looking back at past blogs, there are many errors that show how inexperienced my craft was. I'm more on the path to writing as a journalist; writing more "intelligently." You may, however, still not agree with everything that I have to say/write. And there is no disrespect in saying this but, "this is still my shit!"

I would like to thank you - truly thank you - for taking time to read this. This post is rather short because its an introduction to the growth. Encouraging you to continue to stick around with me and notice what growth has done for me. You won't regret it!

THEE one and only,
